Anti Aging Skin Care
Products.
The Ingredients What the Manufacturer Puts In
When you shop for an anti aging skin care product, you want quality,
effectiveness and safety. Most anti aging skin care products on the market
provide none of those things.
There are several things that you should seek out and many others that it is
best to shy away from. First, you always want to learn about the ingredients
before you buy, so never order anything off of the television.
There is no way to judge any of the three major considerations from that
distance.
The fine print hides the answers. It seems that the lettering is even
smaller on an anti aging skin care product, because the manufacturer knows
that we are likely to need glasses.
First thing in the morning when we clean, moisturize and prepare ourselves
to face the day, we are usually without contacts or eyeglasses.
So, when we get ready to use our new anti aging skin care products for the
first time, we can't check the ingredients or even read the directions very
well.
By the same token, a rejuvenating night cream is a popular anti aging skin
care product, but just before bed is not the right time to be learning about
fragrances, preservatives, chemical compounds and other components. You
simply have to think ahead.
The anti aging skin care products that you should leave on the shelf contain
chemical ingredients that cause allergic reactions, irritation and dryness
and could actually be hazardous to your health.
They include ethyl, methanol, benzyl and isopropyl alcohol, because they are
drying.
Parabens are preservatives that have been banned in several countries,
because they are believed to increase the formation of cancer cells, but
they are still found in some anti aging skin care products.
Die-, mono- and triethananolamine (DEA, MEA and TEA) are often used to
adjust pH levels. They too are believed to cause cancer.
Their use is restricted throughout Europe and in many other countries.
Dioxane is a known cancer causing substance that is sometimes found in an
anti aging skin care product to make harsh ingredients milder.
Personally, I think that if the ingredients are mild enough for use on my
face, then there would be no need to add chemicals to make them milder.
Apparently, I don't understand the industry very well.
Other things that you may as well leave on the shelf are those that are
ineffective or have no clinical research to back up their claims. Collagen
fiber for example is commonly used in a number of anti aging skin care
products. It is derived from the hide of the bovine, or cow.
It makes little since to me to rub something on my face that came from a
cow, but the reason it an ineffective anti aging skin care product is
because it cannot be absorbed through the pores, so it basically just sits
on top, drying and doing little else.
The only reason that it works in injected form is because it "fattens" up
the lowest layer of skin-cells and "stretches" out the wrinkles.
Many people have allergic reactions and must be testing before injections
can begin, but you can buy it off the shelf in cream form and no one says,
"Wait, lots of people are allergic to this stuff."
As we get older, we do lose collagen and elastin, but instead of an anti
aging skin care product that contains a form that our bodies cannot use, we
should seek something called functional keratin, which in clinical trials
was shown to stimulate collagen growth, regenerate elastin and increase
production of new skin-cells.
Anti aging skin care products that contains Wakame, a type of sea kelp, will
increase levels of hyaluronic acid, improving elasticity, reducing bags and
healing dryness and irritation.
It's clinically proven.Nano-lipobelle H EQ10 is a combination of vitamin E
and COQ10 that counters the effects of the sun and oxidative stress while
"soaking up" free radicals as it travels down through layer after layer of
skin.
There is an anti aging skin care product that contains all of these fine
ingredients, but it is not sold in any store. You'll have to do a little
searching, but it's worth the effort.

How to avoid costly mistakes
when buying anti-aging products
Let's face it, there are hundreds of products available on the market. It's
an industry filled with manufacturers who know that people will spend lots
of money to make themselves look younger and better.
Would you like to turn back the clock of time to your early 20's and have
smooth and wrinkle free skin again? I started my search to recapture younger
looking skin several years ago. After spending many hours, and countless
dollars trying different anti aging skin care products, I realized that
expensive products do not necessarily mean positive results.
Each year there are millions of dollars spent on cosmetic surgery, anti
aging skin cream, as well as various body lotion and creams. Some products
are produced and sold by insincere marketers who take advantage of our
desire to look younger.
Do you wonder which anti aging treatment really works? Who doesn't?
Unfortunately, there isn't just one product that will address skin
rejuvenation for every type of skin. This article includes tips and
techniques to help you choose a good product for you
There are some really good products available on the market. Be extremely
careful to select products that will not only treat your specific skin care
issues, but that also contain the appropriate combination of active anti
aging ingredients.
Items to avoid
Fragrances
Avoid products with fragrances in them. Many anti aging skin care products
will have fragrances added to them in order to smell nice. The problem is
that the chemicals in fragrances have toxins in them.
Your skin is porous, and these toxins enter your skin and also your
bloodstream and can cause long term harm.
Parabens
First, you should know that parabens can mimic the hormone estrogen, which
is known to play a role in the development of breast cancers. Measurable
concentrations of six different parabens have been identified in breast
tumors from biopsy samples.
Parabens can be found in shampoos, shaving gels, cleansing gels, toothpaste,
deodorant and cosmetics. Parabens are absorbed through the skin and from the
gastrointestinal tract and blood.
Alcohols
I used to think that using an anti aging skin care product with alcohol
would make my skin clean. Actually, alcohols strip away the skin's natural
acid, making you vulnerable to bacteria and viruses. Alcohols also promote
premature aging of the skin.
I noticed over the years that I have increased brown spots on my skin, and
now realize that using cosmetics with alcohol is what helped to promote
them.
After doing a bunch of research a couple of years ago, I decided to no
longer purchase any products that have these ingredients in them. Before
anyone says anything, I know that there have been studies on both sides of
the argument. But I am cautious and have chosen to err on the side of safety
especially when selecting the best anti aging skin treatment for my skin.
